Test Boost Elite Summary
Whatever your reasons are, if you’re looking to increase your levels of testosterone, this post is for you. It’s a review of a fairly well-known testosterone booster called Test Boost Elite. In it, we’ll evaluate the product’s overall effectiveness using several important criteria and help you decide if it’s the right booster for you.
The Test Boost Elite website makes a lot of strong claims about its ability to increase testosterone levels and overall male fitness. It also includes some very positive user reviews. This is all well and good, but we’ll tell you in advance that our research suggests that Test Boost Elite doesn’t quite live up to the hype its website generates.
It’s not a terrible product where you won’t get or feel any benefits whatsoever, but there are certainly better options available if you’re looking for an effective testosterone booster and you want to experience the health benefits that come it.
Read on to find out more important details, but the overall outlook for Test Boost Elite isn’t so great.
Before we discuss the product’s particulars, let’s do an overview of testosterone itself and the effect it can have on a man’s overall health. As it is with every health matter, accurate knowledge is the key to achieving and maintaining the proper levels of this crucial hormone.
Testosterone is An Important Fuel at Every Stage of a Man’s Life
Testosterone is the key sexual hormone in men, but it also regulates many other bodily functions that aren’t commonly associated with it. It is responsible for everything from sex drive and sperm count to bone mass, fat distribution, muscle size, and red blood cell production.
In short, testosterone is one of the most important aspects of a man’s health throughout his life cycle. Think of it as the fuel for a delicate and complicated engine, one that will run wonderfully for many decades if it’s properly maintained. And because testosterone is so important to the overall picture of male health, no man can feel or perform his best without proper levels of it.
Typically, the natural production of testosterone peaks when a man is in his mid-twenties or so and begins to slow down progressively after that. This is natural enough, but if the decline in production is too sharp, a number of distressing and unnecessary symptoms can occur.
The Effects of Low T
As we said above, some decline in testosterone production is to be expected as a man grows older. This decline is due to the fact that some of the necessary work of testosterone is usually accomplished by this point in male development. What we’re talking about here are the characteristics that begin to develop with the onset of puberty.
But if testosterone levels dip too much or too fast at this point, men can develop a condition known as “Low T.” Low T is much more common than you think and is nothing you should ever blame yourself for. It has nothing to do with your toughness, fortitude, or actual manhood. It’s a purely chemical process, one that can and should be reversed with a little maintenance.
The symptoms of Low T are numerous and often very subtle. It’s easy to ascribe these symptoms to other causes, but low levels of testosterone are often the culprit if a man is experiencing low energy, sexual dysfunction, or depression. If you are experiencing these things on a consistent basis, it’s in your best interest to explore the possibility you have Low T.
The General Scoop On Testosterone Boosters
To counter the many troubling effects of Low T, many men are now seeking natural boosters instead of synthetic treatments from their physicians. One of the main reasons for this are the irritating or frightening side effects of some of these synthetic treatments. Men seek a natural testosterone booster to avoid insomnia, agitation, and digestive problems that often accompany these hormone replacement therapies.
A natural testosterone booster like Test Boost Elite usually works (or don’t work!) in one of two different ways. Some work with your body and its natural resources to increase the production of testosterone. Others focus on decreasing the rate at which your body converts testosterone to estrogen.
Depending on the quality, testosterone boosters have been shown to be very good for increasing overall levels of this crucial male hormone. They’re maximally effective when combined with a proper diet and a consistent workout routine. When used in conjunction with these practices, high-quality testosterone boosters increase muscle mass, improve sexual performance, and help in the regulation of mood.
Unfortunately, our research into Test Boost Elite has demonstrated that it’s far less effective in utilizing your body’s natural resources than many other supplements. We’ll explain why this is the case when we discuss its ingredients, but the upshot is that its effects are less than impressive.
Test Boost Elite’s Ingredients
Test Boost Elite is a common testosterone booster that has received a lot of attention in many sectors. Some testimonials on Test Boost Elite do claim that it aids in decreasing workout recovery time and building up muscle mass. These may or may not be entirely accurate, but our research indicated that its usage did not lead to any meaningful increases in testosterone levels.
Test Boost Elite does include three key ingredients that do provide your body with some benefits. Out of its three primary ingredients, only one of them is actually scientifically proven to boost testosterone levels.
The three primary ingredients are: Tribulus Terrestris, horny goat weed, and fenugreek extract. It contains several “secondary” ingredients as well, including green tea extract, glutamine peptides, and L-Arginine. We’ll start with the key ingredients.
Tribulus Terrestris is an ingredient that you commonly see in test boosters. As far as scientific research is concerned, it actually hasn’t been shown to increase testosterone levels. That’s not to say it doesn’t have any benefit, but if you’re hanging your hat as this being one of the primary ingredients to boost testosterone, you’re going to be disappointed. There is plenty of evidence to suggest that Tribulus is an excellent libido enhancer. This would make it a nice secondary or complementary ingredient to have in testosterone booster, but not a primary ingredient.
Horny Goat Weed can cause an increase cardiovascular health, especially blood flow. Many men know that increased blood flow can lead to firmer, more sustainable erections. Your cardiovascular system also delivers nutrients are to tired muscles. Increased blood flow can mean quicker delivery of larger amounts of vital nutrients to your muscles during a workout as well as recovery. But although it can help a bit with sexual performance, there’s no scientific evidence to suggest that Horny Goat Weed actually increases testosterone levels. Another ingredient that has some health benefits, but just doesn’t make sense as a primary testosterone boosting ingredient.
The last of the three primary ingredients is Fenugreek. Finally, an actual ingredient that is scientifically proven to boost testosterone. Fenugreek extract has been proven to increase testosterone levels substantially and is another common ingredient in high-quality supplements. However, Test Boost Elite just doesn’t have enough of this ingredient for maximum effectiveness.
So only one out of 3 primary ingredients are shown to have any testosterone boosting power whatsoever, and that lone ingredient is underdosed to be considered effective.
Pro Tip: At a bare minimum, to even consider a testosterone booster, it must have a minimum of 5 proven testosterone boosting ingredients, but more would be better. This is in addition to any “secondary” ingredients that happen to also be included.
A quick look at the “secondary” ingredients of Test Boost Elite isn’t any more promising. Green tea is known to increase metabolic rate and is an effective fat burner, but has no effects on testosterone levels. Glutamine peptides are naturally occurring and do nothing more than provide cellular energy. Taurine helps your body cope with everyday stress, but also does nothing to increase testosterone.
With all the fancy sounding secondary ingredients, you’ll get a boost of energy and bit of a calming effect later on, but they won’t do anything to help your testosterone levels.
